About Me
Dr. Ajay Patel is a Rehabilitation Medicine and Pain Medicine Physician. His clinical interests include disorders of the spine and peripheral joints, use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic/therapeutic purposes, neuromodulation and ortho-biologics. He has presented nationally and published several peer reviewed abstracts, original papers and case reports. Dr. Patel also has a key interest in healthcare management and leadership. He is passionate about driving positive patient outcomes and fostering a culture of clinical growth in healthcare organizations.
Dr. Patel earned his BA in Liberal Arts from University of Missouri-Kansas City and his MD from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill, his residency in PM&R at Columbia/Cornell University Hospitals in NYC, and finally went on to complete his fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center/Shirley Ryan 无码专区. He is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
